Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field is located in Lakeview, a residential Chicago neighborhood. The ballpark’s official address is 1060 W. Addison Street. The area around Wrigley Field has many restaurants and bars; this area is often referred to as Wrigleyville. Wrigley Field is somteimes called The Friendly Confines, a phrase popularized Ernie Banks who is sometimes called Mr. Cub.

With a seating capacity of 41,118, Wrigley Field is one of the smallest MLB ballparks. It is also one of the oldest. Only Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox is older. Its small size makes games more exciting as players tend to hit more homeruns over the famous ivy-covered walls.

Wrigley Field is one of the most unique ballparks in America and no sefl-respecting sports fan can visit Chicago without seeing a Cubs game here.
