US Cellular Field

US Cellular Field is located at 35th Street and Shields Avenue in Armour Square, a Chicago neighborhood. The ballpark is often connected with Bridgeport, the next neighborhood over.

Seeing the White Sox in US Cellular Field doesn’t have the same historical significance as seeing the Cubs in Wrigley Field, but it is still quite an experience. The scoreboard “explodes” whenever a White Sox player hits a homerun and the Sox Shower will probably be an interesting memory from your Chicago vacation.

US Cellular Field is sometimes called New Comiskey Park or Comiskey Park II, which was the ballpark’s original name. In 2003, US Cellular paid $68,000,000.00 for naming rights to the stadium.
