Chicago Bulls NBA basketball

The Chicago Bulls are not what they were in the days of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman, but seeing a Chicago Bulls home game can still be an exciting experience for anyone visiting the Windy City.

The Chicago Bulls have been playing in the United Center since 1994. The Bulls started playing in 1966, but what many people consider the beginning of the Bulls was Michael Jordan’s arrival in 1984. Michael Jordan changed the game of basketball is widely considered the best basketball player ever. To this day, the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan are inseparably linked. It was Michael Jordan who led the Bulls to a 3peat: The Bulls won the NBA Championship in 1991, 1992, and 1993.

Those three years were difficult for New York Knicks fans, as the Knicks were consistently knocked out of the playoffs by the Bulls. However when Jordan retired after the 1993 championship, the Knicks were finally able to overcome the Bulls in 1994.

Then during the 1995-1996 season, Jordan came out of retirement. The Bulls got knocked out of the playoffs that year, but the following year they set an NBA record with 72 wins and only 10 losses. In 1996, the Bulls won the championship. Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman were just an unstoppable force. They won it all again in 1997 and again in 1998. That was the Chicago Bulls second 3peat.
